PostSubject: Competition Rules   Competition Rules I_icon_minitimeSat 05 Jun 2010, 6:18 am

These are the full rules for competitons.

You may only enter once, with one piece. This is so nobody has an increased chance of winning the competition.

The piece has to be on topic of the competition. Most likely you would have been given a subject.

You may provide links to YouTube, Quizilla, fanfiction.net, deviantArt and your own personal website for competitions, unless the thread rules say otherwise. There will be a notice on the thread rules saying "You may provide a link to (website)".

Your entry has to still be in accordance with the Forum Rules, if not your entry will be disqualified.

Disqualification can be given when the following rules are broken: sexual or pornographic content, discrimination, copyright, harassment, link to unapproved site, plagerism. In order to keep from getting disqualified make sure that we can tell all entries are the entrants own work.

If you like to keep your stories/drawings/videos/poetry/lyrics anywhere else than the aforementioned sites, please PM us. We will look at the site and then decide if it's okay to be used.

Using quotes from other texts is allowed as long as it ties in with your story. For example, to have two characters read out Romeo and Juliet in a drama class. Intertextuality is welcomed.

Winners for all competitions get to choose the next subject. However, please be aware that the subject is more of a theme for your piece. The winner also cannot enter the next competition of the same sort, but judges the entries instead.
